Barrett-Jackson Northeast Auction returned to Mohegan Sun for 2018- First Time in the New Expo Center

The Barrett-Jackson Northeast Auction returned for the third year to Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. This year marked the first time the auction was able to take advantage of the new Expo Center at Mohegan Sun. This allowed for more displays and cars under roof and ensures that the facility will be able to handle the annual auction as it continues to grow in size and attendance.

In addition to the popular vehicle auction and memorabilia auctions, there were plenty of vendors to check out as well as new car displays from Ford, Chevrolet, and Dodge. Those three manufacturers returned to give fans a ride in their most popular muscle cars in the form of hot laps on the custom race track.

My favorite part of the Barrett-Jackson experience is that it offers something for every car enthusiast and is an event that will keep the entire family entertained. There are so many cars that went across the block in 2018 that I would have loved to take home. My favorite? A low mile 2000 Ford Mustang Cobra R. With only 300 made, that car was an instant collectible!

Mustang fans were sure to appreciate the number of original foxbody Ford Mustangs that went across the block at this year's auction. The 1979-1993 cars have been rising in popularity as of late and clean examples are commanding top dollar.
